Sick...

We have a cold. The boys and I started feeling bad on Saturday and now we all have a full-fledged cold. I really can't complain. This is our first one this winter. So many people have had this nasty stuff several times already this winter. I will sadly miss BSF and MOPS this week. Peanut sounds worse than Bubbie. Peanut and I didn't get very much sleep last night. Here is hoping tonight is much better. Lord willing, we can avoid the doc office since I have also heard there is a stomach bug going around town. I'd like to avoid that knowing our track record with stomach bugs!

This morning I decided to have a good day no matter what. I hate being sick, but its so much worse when you're pregnant. I already feel icky and sleepy and tired. Now I feel achy and just want to lay down and do nothing.... Too bad we don't get sick days with this staying-at-home mom gig!

On a different note: I was researching vacation spots for Hubbie and I to celebrate our 7th anniversary and first trip alone since having Peanut. I pulled up Google and typed in resorts in GA. Up came a lovely "optional" clothing resort. Hmm....yeah.....tempting.....but....hmmm....NOT! I think we'll leave that one alone and continue the search....for a "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service" type place!

A Bubbie Funny: I told Bubbie to get a tissue when the snot had almost reached from his nose to the top of his lip. He told me that he didn't need a tissue since he had his tongue. Hmm...never thought of your tongue being God's idea of a snot wiper. Only from a little boy's mind!
