I've written several times over the last month that I am overwhelmed by the amount of blogs that have been left unread on my Google Reader. The count was over 1000 and I was NO where close to having the time or patience to sit down and read that many blog posts! I love reading blogs and connecting with people and reading about people's lives, but I just don't have the time to do it with everyone. I wanted to be that SUPER BLOGGER, but I finally realized today, that I can't be it....not that I ever WAS a super blogger! I went through my following blogs and my google reader and deleted A BUNCH of blogs! I just can't do it and have to keep the ones that I actual DO keep up with or do blog. I realized I was following a lot of people that haven't written posts in months! I hope to some day have time to pick back up and read and comment on everyone that stops by, but I can't always promise it!
Now my Google Reader has 0 unread blogs...now if I could just keep up with the amount of emails and responses that I need to do.....that is my NEXT tackle! :)

It is hard to delete blogs that I enjoyed, but I've learned that it had to be done or I would perpetually feel so overwhelmed that I didn't read any blogs at all. It's okay to not have time to keep up with everyone!
I delete a few blogs every month and add a few also. I try to keep it manageable.
I often have a long to be read list, but then I just choose a couple posts to read instead of all of them, especially for people that blog more than 3 times a week.

It's so funny that you posted this! I am in a similar situation right now. Since I had my tooth pulled and I have had a dry socket, I am so far behind! I am trying to catch up, but I just can't comment on every post I missed. Now I know you will understand! :)
