Busytown Mysteries Review

Busytown is back!  Not sure if you grew up reading the Busytown books written by Richard Scarry, but we did!  I am always on the lookout for the old Busytown books at Goodwill.  I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review Busytown Mysteries, which is a brand new TV series on CBS weekend mornings in the Cookie Jar block of time.

Bubbie and Peanut had a blast watching the DVD sent to us from One2One Network!  The TV series has a cute little song in the beginning and it is very catchy!  I was walking around the house singing the song after the boys watched the DVD over and over again!  I knew I didn't have to worry about the content of the show, because of growing up with the books.  The whole show is all about Scarry characters solving mysteries with the deductive reasoning skill of Who? What? When? Where? and Why?  The boys loved the sights and sounds of the show.  Bubbie and Peanut both asked to watch it over and over and OVER again!  They fell in love with it!  On Saturday morning I looked for the show to come on and it did, so I taped that episode too.  Bubbie and Peanut were very excited to see the show come on!

After watching the show, Bubbie asked if he could get on Busytown's website.  Over at Busytown Mysteries, the kids can play games, interact with the characters of Busytown and they can even set up their very first "email".

So, if you are a fan or think your kids will be, go here and check out the new tv series and see when it comes on near you!
