Then, for a baby gift, my Granny and Papa and my parents gave us money. I held onto it for a long time.... waiting on something big to put it towards. There are lots of things that would be nice to have, but if this is our last baby, I really hated to buy "new" or "new to us" equipment and only get a little bit of use out of it. So, I finally decided that I was saving the money for a carrier.
Once I decided that I was definitely using the money for a new carrier, I had to decide between a Ergo and a Mei Tai. I had wanted a Mei Tai for a long time, but wasn't sure which company I wanted to purchase it from.... I sort of liked the Ergos, but I didn't like the build of it and I really liked the Mei Tei carriers better and I knew that it was something that I could get "unisex" so that Hubbie could wear the boys in it too.
One day, while on Facebook, Melissa had "friended" Heavenly Hold. I went and looked around and saw that there was a website. I looked for Mei Tai carriers and saw some that had been returned, but were in great condition. I saw one that was largely discounted and then I found a coupon code, so I knew this was my new carrier!
I got my new carrier for a GREAT price! Its a wonderful Mei Tai. I love the feel of the fabric. Heavenly Hold was a wonderful company to work with. I got the carrier in 2 days MAX. Baby Bean has done quite well in the carrier. I like it a little better than my favorite carrier (Sleepy Wrap) because I don't have to unwrap as much to nurse/take the baby out, etc.
Its a wonderful addition to my baby wearing stash! I even wore Baby Bean on a very chilly night while we walked through a "Bethlehem village"! I love it and look forward to many more cuddles with my babies!

It's beautiful and Baby Bean looks quite snuggly in there. Enjoy!
Awww! Happy Birthday to you! Thanks for the post and you two look so sweet together!
So pretty! I love the fabric. I wish I could have gotten used to using a mei tai. I guess I was too lazy and always just popped them in the sling so I could get them out easier to eat (which was often!).
I don't have to tell you (again) how much I love mine. Glad you finally found the one you wanted. And Heavenly Hold is wonderful to work with (that's where I got part of your Christmas present).
