Our Oldest

My precious baby boy, Bubbie, is 5 years old today.  I know everyone says it, but I really cannot believe he if 5.  He is getting so big.  Bubbie is so smart and so talkative and so anal!  Ha!  He really does make us laugh at the things he says.

I could probably write a book with his "sayings".  Last night he told me that he had to be pretty special to be born in December, because he was in the same month as Peanut, Nana and Jesus!

Bubbie is really such a lovable little boy!  He loves everyone and knows no stranger!  He is a wonderful big brother.  He cares for and looks after his brothers.  He is a huge helper and plays wonderfully by himself.

He is already recognizing words and reading short sentences.  He loves to count, add and subtract and look at calendars and maps.  Man! He is soooo like me- its really scary!  Not sure if I like a mini-Lu walking around and I feel REALLY REALLY sorry for my parents having such an anal daughter!  :)  Bubbie has GOT to be "in the know" all the time.

My Bubbie loves life.  He loves to play and be silly.  He loves school.  He loves his friends.

I cannot wait to see what my Bubbie grows up to be.  He wants to be a race car driver and whatever he ends up doing, we will be happy- as long as he is doing what makes him truly happy and content.  We will do whatever we can to encourage his strengths and interests.
