We had a wonderful month of December last year. We did everything on our list and more! We didn't always stick to the calendar. Sometimes we had a long day so instead of going out and doing something, we would swap it for an evening at home- watching a movie. This year we are carrying over quite a few things from the calendar last year because they were such a hit! I hope that since Peanut is a year older he will be able to be a little bit more involved in our activities. This year we are adding the Elf on the Shelf as a daily activity and instead of reading through the book of Luke( the story of the birth of Christ) every night, I think we'll break the story up into a few nights.
So, here it goes.......
December 1st- Attend a local function
December 2nd- Put up and decorate the tree and decorate the house; Listen to Christmas music
December 3rd- Make and Decorate our Gingerbread House
December 4th- Bubbie's 5th Birthday; Celebrate the birthday boy; Go to a local storytime- Polar Express
December 5th- Bake Cookies
December 6th- Go to our friend's house and watch the parade
December 7th- Watch a Christmas movie
December 8th- Play games and drink hot chocolate
December 9th- Go to a local church function
December 10th- Make Christmas rings
December 11th- Make a Birthday Card for Jesus and Put it Under the Tree
December 12th- Go See Santa ( I don't think my boys will want to sit on his lap!)
December 13th- Go to a local church function
December 14th- Make goodies for neighbors
December 15th- Pray for and Deliver Goodies to neighbors
December 16th- Bubbie's Christmas Play at School- Early Release; Drive around and see Christmas lights
December 17th- Write a letter to Santa
December 18th- Make Snow flakes
December 19th- Peanut's 2nd Birthday! Celebrate Peanut's birthday and have family over!
December 20th- Go to a local church function
December 21st- Take Food to a Local Food Bank
December 22nd and 23rd- Watch a Christmas Movie; Cook & Bake; Read and Discuss the Christmas Story found in Luke.

Let me be the first to wish everyone a....... Merry Christmas!

Yay! We made your list! Glad you are coming to the parade party!! :)
I need a nap just after reading that! Sounds like a fun time!
Sounds like a great plan. We will be doing several of the same things, I just didn't pin anything to dates. Of course, I still have to make our advent calendar. :-)
