E-Mealz Is My Friend!

Last week I told y'all about my (GASP!) purchase of meal plans!  Well, since then, 3 friends have signed up and several more have mentioned that it might be an option for their family!  I am shocked that so many people have jumped on to this idea!  I really was very embarrassed to even SUGGEST me paying for a shopping list and menu plan, but we are heading into our second week with E-Mealz.  I said that I would tell y'all how I like it, so here is what I've learned.

1.  Shopping and menu planning time has been cut into half

2.  They give you a menu/shopping list for every week, but we were able to use the list for two weeks, so you definitely have some leftovers.  Maybe not enough for the family to have a meal, but we made an enchilada recipe and we will be eating those until we are SICK of enchiladas!  HA!  I think we could eat 3 dinner meals and STILL have enough for Hubbie to take to some to lunch one day.

3.  There are going to be some meals that don't sound "appetizing" but those are the nights that I substitute a pizza night or breakfast night!

4.  Definitely helps with avoiding the "humdrum" feeling about dinners.  Having something different and new has been exciting and has definitely given us some new ideas!  Like Chinese food.... I never make it and even had to go buy soy sauce, but it was very inexpensive because of the sales at Publix and Hubbie is THRILLED!

So far, I have enjoyed it!  The wonderful people have even given me 6 weeks of free service because I didn't have the opportunity to "refer" the 3 friends that have signed up.  I am tickled that I get to try this service even longer!!!  So, if you're interested, click on the link above.  They even give you a sample shopping list and menu so that you can see how it works (of course, it won't go with the sales that week).

Glad it's working out for you. And now I'm off to look for Chinese food recipes. ;-)

Interesting idea. Certainly a novel one. Bravo to them for thinking of it. I am sure there is a market for it.
