St Pattys Day!

Everyone is so excited about St Patty's Day....except me!  HA!HA!  I carry around emotional baggage from this holiday.  Years ago, when I lived in Texas, and I was riding the school bus to Kindergarten, a little boy pinched me because I wasn't wearing the "correct" color of green.  I wish I had a picture of what I was wearing.  I still remember the dress like I wore it yesterday.  It was a mint green with smocking along the top.  And I thought I looked adorable.  Obviously this little boy did not.  I cried and the bus driver fussed at the little boy for pinching me.  I was scarred for life.  Until this day, I have not "celebrated" St Patty's Day!

Moral of the story:  Don't pinch people!  It could result in life long trauma!

I wore TRUE GREEN today and dressed my boys in it too!!!

I'll bet you remember his name too! ;) Sorry St. Patty's brings back memories of pinching. You're smart to dress your little leprechauns in green today!

I remember getting pinched for this very same reason! There are so many shades of green! I now make sure my kids are in "Irish" green so this never happens to them...at least I hope it doesn't!

I hate the whole pinching thing! None of us wore green on St. Patty's (except baby girl, but it was incidental and not intentional). I'm a rebel. ;-)
