Today is PJ Day and its a beautiful day!
As soon as we woke up, I began getting the boys ready to play, because I didn't want to waste a minute of this weather.
Because rain is on the way.
Because rain is on the way.
After breakfast, getting the kitchen cleaned and mopped, all of us headed outside.
The boys played hard. Lots of dirt. Lots of running. Lots of screaming.
Baby Bean sat in his saucer, happily chewing on a biter biscuit.
I made phone calls, chatted with a friend, read a little bit and played with my little men.
I even made a few lists. Have I told you how my world revolves around lists?!

We ate lunch outside. I love eating outside. Especially when you can spray off the tables and chairs!
I had the best morning just BEING with my little men in the good 'ole sunshine.
Lots of sun and a wonderful breeze is good for the soul.
For my own personal record, I had to include a little story about Peanut. After coming in from outside, we had to take showers. I was getting Peanut dressed and ready for nap when he pointed to his window and said "Outside today!" I said "Yes, we went outside today!" He quickly got excited, grabbed my face and gave me a huge smooch on my lips! I laughed and said, "You glad we spent the morning outside?!" "Yay!" was Peanut's response.... I think this would make a Momma very eager to take her son outside ANY DAY- ALL DAY LONG!!! I was thrilled that I made my little men happy.

The story about Peanut is so sweet!
BTW I am a major list maker too! My world revoloves around lists and if I have idle time (not much of that lately) I find something to make a list of! I think it comes with my OCD and need to be organized!
How sweet! :) I can just hear the happiness in this post.
Funny you mentioned lists-I love lists, too. Dh & I often make "weekend lists", sharing it in Google Docs so we can both view & add to it.
I love these beautiful days where we can spend lots of time outside (before it gets too hot!). It's good for my spirits and good for the kiddos.
That Peanut is one sweet boy!
Sounds like a wonderful day, and Peanut's story is so sweet. Nothing better than a little boy melting his mom's heart!
