The week I dread every year is here!  The yearly conference for Hubbie's work.  I cannot tell you how THRILLED I am that the conference is local again this year.  For years they've gone to different cities and I hated Hubbie being gone for five or six days.  Since its local, he will be home to sleep, but thats about it.  And this year, he added on the task of being in the entertaining band for the week.  Geesh!  As if we don't have enough to worry about, we've added him practicing and having to practice with the other band members!  :o) Between the race and this conference and him trying to get performance ready, we have had a busy month!  I cannot WAIT until this is over.  I want a get-away where we have nothing we HAFTA do!  :o)

On top of the week of being a "single parent", its raining CATS AND DOGS!  Its been going on since Saturday afternoon and its not letting up.  The weather man is forecasting rain the WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK!!!  That just might cancel all 3 of our park dates/plans(oops! it just canceled our plans this morning!).  BOO!  I'm praying for this week to fly by!

I'm all about quick & easy meals these days! I have very little motivation to cook (especially when what I'm planning to cook doesn't sound very tasty to me).

Hope your week is going okay & passing quickly!
