A local gal is doing the Project 365, which is taking a picture every day, for the whole year. I have seen other bloggers do this and always enjoyed the pictures, but wasn't sure if I was up for the challenge! Not sure if I am or not, but hey! I'll give it a try....
Day 7- January 7th
Today after a nice, big breakfast and some schooling, the kids were getting on each others nerves and they weren't really allowing me to get anything done, so we loaded up the car and ran a few errands. Once the errands were finished, we drove over to a great little "wetlands park" that the kids and I enjoy walking around. This was the first time I didn't buckle Bugsy into a stroller, carry him in a sling or walk him in his little "scooter". He had a BALL! and enjoyed being his own free bird!
The big boys, of course, have races and try to earn the most points, dependent on who gets to the end fastest ..... one guess on who made up THAT game.
It was chilly, but we soaked up the environment. We stopped and read signs. We looked at the trees and gum balls. We stopped and looked for owls and frogs and different plants and animals. It was a much needed break out of the house!
That took some effort considering the weather! Way to go :) and I love the picture!
